Our Governing Board

The Red Rock School District is served by a three-member board. The Red Rock Elementary School District Board of Education operates under a policy governance model. The governing board emphasizes a commitment to community input and to ensure appropriate organizational performances that addresses the expectations of student achievement.

Public Concerns and Complaints

If a member of the community has a complaint, the following is intended to assist in its resolution:

  • If the matter relates to a student, talk with the student’s teacher. If the matter remains unresolved, talk with the district administrator.
  • When a complaint is made directly to the board as a whole or to a board member as an individual, it will be referred to the district administrator for resolution.
  • If the matter remains unresolved, you may contact the school board.

Board Meeting Update

The Arizona Department of Education has developed a new A–F School Accountability Letter Grade System. As a Performing Plus school, the letter grade for Red Rock is a B. If you would like more information about the determination factors for the grades, please refer to the ADE website.
