Welcome to the home of the Red Rock Raiders. We are a small, rural District located in Red Rock Arizona, centered one hour from Phoenix and thirty minutes from Tucson, Arizona. You’ll find our town in the lower Santa Cruz River Valley, near Picacho Peak State Park. We serve students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Our faculty and staff value each child as an individual, while helping students continually strive for their personal best.
We hope you like our new website. It contains a lot of helpful information, such as the school calendar, news and events going on in our school, and how to get in touch with us. We hope this site will answer any questions you may have about our district. If you are unable to find what you are looking for, please stop in and see us. The mission of Red Rock Elementary School District is to provide comprehensive, success-oriented instruction for all students in our growing district. We design learning opportunities to maximize each student’s potential in the areas of academic ability, social and emotional development, physical well-being, cultural and aesthetic awareness, and community contribution and responsibility. Red Rock School District will continue to pursue and implement scientifically research-based educational methods, strategies, and technologies.

Dear Parents,
We hope you had an enjoyable Rodeo Vacation. We are seven weeks from taking state mandated tests in grades 2-8. I have had many conversations with students about their responsibilities as learners. We appreciate your support as parents in getting your children to school on time every day, as well as assisting with homework. Working together our students will succeed!
We want to thank volunteers who came in to classrooms to read during the month of February. A special thank you goes to Ms. Lamb who featured books in the library that focused on black history, diversity, and included books to enjoy!
Our Kids Night Out event on February 15 was a great success. Proceeds will go to our 8th grade class trip to Sea World in May. Everyone who came had a good time, enjoyed snacks, and a movie with friends.
Students have left a lot of coats and sweaters on the playground. If your child is missing a coat or sweater, please check in the office to see if we have it!
Have a fantastic March! Please remember that our two-week intercession is March 11-22. Students and teachers return on March 25.
